ECHO from Lewis Arnold on Vimeo.

Echo, based on a true events, tells the story of 17-year-old schoolgirl Caroline. The film is directed by Lewis Arnold and written by James Walker. The film follows Caroline and her struggle towards accepting her father's death. Arnold edited and shot the film in a way so the audience can be objective at the beginning to completely subjective at the end of the film.

The cold colour tones within the film set the chilling atmosphere. Most of the city centre shots within the film were taken with a long lens, this allowed improvisation and real people helping Caroline to make the scenes more authentic.
